Honkai: Star Rail‘s 4.2 patch is coming soon, adding Silver Wolf’s new version, Silver Wolf Lv. 999, and Evanescia to the playable character roster, as well as expanding upon the story on Planarcadia.

What time does Honkai: Star Rail go down for maintenance?
Honkai: Star Rail will go down for maintenance on Tuesday, April 21 or Wednesday, April 22 (depending on your time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:
- 3 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, April 21 for the west coast of North America
- 6 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, April 21 for the east coast of North America
- 7 p.m. BRT on Tuesday, April 21 for Brazil
- 11 p.m. BST on Tuesday, April 21 for the U.K.
- 12 a.m. CEST on Wednesday, April 22 for western Europe
- 7 a.m. JST on Wednesday, April 22 for Japan
- 8 a.m. AEST on Wednesday, April 22 for the east coast of Australia
Make sure to burn your fuel before maintenance starts, if you wanted to. As usual, the new battle pass will start after the new version goes live, so consider holding on to some of your stamina, if you want to get a jumpstart on that.

Honkai: Star Rail should come back from maintenance with the 4.2 version at the following times:
- 8 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, April 21 for the west coast of North America

The servers may come up early or late, depending on how maintenance goes, but these are the approximate times 4.2 should go live. Usually Hoyoverse is pretty good by abiding by maintenance times. We don’t usually get extended maintenance, but it does end early sometimes!
What’s new in Honkai: Star Rail version 4.2?
This update continues the Phantasmoon Games on Planarcadia, pulling Silver Wolf and Evanescia more into the story. Alongside this, those two characters will also become playable this patch. Silver Wolf gets another version (Silver Wolf Lv. 999), which is an Imaginary Elation unit, and Evanescia makes her playable debut as a Physical Elation unit.
